My theater experience gives me unique insight into both A) what makes people tick (my acting background), and B) the importance of both high-level concepts and intricate details and how they affect the overall picture (my set design background).
My experience in academia gives me a leg up in terms of both qualitative and quantitative research. This is due to my background in assessment and research using a variety of methods including semi-structured interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
COUNSELING
My time working as a counselor on a college campus helped me develop and hone my ability to listen and respond empathetically to a variety of situations and to quickly discover lines of inquiry that lead to valuable discoveries.
These experiences come together to help shape a unique approach to product management and design with a concentration on helping people accomplish their goals quickly and concisely, but ideally also having fun on the journey. 🎉
Outside of work...
I'm married to my long term partner and am a parent to both a small human and three cats. I love to sing and participate in community theater. I'm a reader of dystopian novels, a player of video games (primarily open world RPGs a la Horizon Zero Dawn), and an art hobbyist.
